Our next topic will be square roots. Square roots are inverses of squares. We learned when working with exponents that squaring a number means raising it to the second power or multiplying the number times itself. To take the square root, you are asking, "what number when multiplied times itself equals this number?" Watch this video for a little introduction to square roots.
